The 16th International Conference on Frontier Computing (FC 2026)

The 16th International Conference on Frontier Computing (FC2026) – Theory, Technologies and Applications will be held from July 6 to 10, 2026, in Shanghai, China. FC2026 aims to further promote global academic exchange and strengthen international collaboration in the fields of frontier computing, emerging technologies, and practical applications.

This event will be the 16th in the series, in which fruitful results can be found in the digital library or conference proceedings of FC 2010 (Taichung, Taiwan), FC 2012 (Xining, China), FC 2013 (Gwangju, Korea), FC 2015 (Bangkok, Thailand), FC 2016 (Tokyo, Japan), FC 2017 (Osaka, Japan), FC 2018 (Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia), FC ABH 2019 (Taichung, Taiwan), FC 2019 (Kitakyushu, Japan), FC 2020 (online), FC 2021 (online), FC 2022 (Tokyo, Japan), FC 2023 (Tokyo, Japan), FC 2024 (Singapore), and FC 2025 (Osaka, Japan).

In addition to the main conference, FC2026 will also feature related sub-events and academic activities, all organized under the official FC conference framework and subject to the same conference policies and unified evaluation procedures. All accepted papers will be published in the Lecture Notes in Electrical Engineering (LNEE) series by Springer, which is indexed by EI and SCOPUS. FC2026 will also continue the special publication model, allowing authors to extend their works to high-quality journals and books after the conference. Selected papers with more than 40% extension will be recommended to top-ranked journals.

Submission Guidelines and Notes

  • This is a blind peer-reviewed workshop. Authors are invited to submit their papers in English through the workshop’s submissions system. Submissions must be original and should not have been published previously. Each paper should have at least 4 pages, no longer than 12 pages, including figures, tables and references.

  • All papers accepted after review will be recommended to an SCI/SCIE/SSCI indexed journals. Authors will be notified by email for any further instructions.

  • Registration fee for an accepted paper will be USD 1,950. The registration fee includes attendance to the workshop and co-located events for one person. Additional participant registration will be required if more than one author would like to participate the event. The registration fee for participant will be announced on website after June 2023.

The explosive growth of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Large Language Models (LLMs) demands a fundamental shift in data architecture. To fully realize the potential of high-performance AI computing, modern infrastructure requires more than just raw computational power. This keynote addresses the critical storage bottlenecks faced in AI computing environments and shares key insights gained from overcoming these challenges. We will explore the architecture of ultra-fast data pipelines designed to eliminate I/O waiting times, strategies for building cost-effective yet scalable data lakes, and methods for ensuring predictable scalability. Finally, the session will provide a forward-looking roadmap on how hardware and software must converge to power the next generation of AI enterprises.
